Hi, my name's Sarah and I'm with first direct I have been for years, since about 1995 I think and I've got a current account, a couple of savings accounts, personal loan and first directory as well actually. I found out about first directory through a friend of mine, we were just about to go on a skiing trip and I'd forgotten to organise my insurance. He said he got his through first direct so I phoned up - literally the day before we went. I got it all sorted and I just stuck with it ever since really because I found out since I got it, that my mobile phone's insured too. So I've been able to cancel my insurance with my mobile phone supplier which has saved me quite a bit of money actually and because we go on holiday at least once a year I just don't have to worry. I pay monthly and I don't have to think about it and it takes all that kind of stress out and it's just one less thing to think about. And apparently I also found out when I was on the phone to first direct that I get free text banking as well! I knew I got the text through from first direct but I didn't realise that I didn't have to pay for them either so it's been a good way for me to keep track of my accounts without actually having to pay for it.
